Professor Ralph Mobbs is a spinal neurosurgeon with Neuro Spine Clinic, operating at the Prince of Wales Private and Public Hospitals in Sydney, Australia. Over the last 15 years, he has worked extensively on developing new surgical fixation systems, implants, approaches, and techniques that are currently used today.

Professor Mobbs is the Director of Neuro Spine Clinic, Chair of the NeuroSpine Surgery Research Group (NSURG), Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Spine Surgery, and Clinical Associate Professor in neurosurgery.

He has clinical expertise in spinal endoscopy, spine tumours, spinal trauma, and minimally invasive surgery and is involved in supervising PhD and MS students as part of the UNSW ILP Program. Professor Mobbs has published over 300 peer-reviewed journal articles on neurosurgery and spinal surgery, with research interests including:
